Traditional kiln operations often rely on labor structures that trap families in cycles of debt. Modern mechanization improves productivity while creating a practical pathway to eliminate the economic drivers behind bonded labor—setting families free.

CEF has assembled a strategy group to develop best practices for employers creating safe, dignified jobs for women rescued from human trafficking. Employment is a critical step in long-term recovery and independence. This group is identifying practical ways businesses can offer meaningful work while providing the support survivors need to rebuild their lives—expanding sustainable pathways to freedom and stability.
